Totalitarianism. Totalitarianism is an authoritarian form of government in which the ruling party recognizes no limitations whatsoever on its power, including in its citizens’ lives or rights.

The three branches of government are the legislative branch, the executive branch, and the judicial branch. The legislative branch is responsible for creating laws. Federally, the legislative branch is Congress, which consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The Federal Government is composed of three distinct branches: legislative, executive, and judicial, whose powers are vested by the U.S. Constitution in the Congress, the President, and the Federal courts, respectively.

The type of government a nation has can be classified as one of three main types: Democracy. Monarchy. Dictatorship.
